As Easy as 1-2-3: Holiday Toddler Recipe
This holiday toddler recipe is a fun (and beautiful) craft with low prep time and a fun way to incorporate fruits and veggies into a delicious treat!

Crafting with our little ones is such a joy. And who doesn’t love a good holiday craft? Throw in a recipe that your little enjoys (and helps to expand their palate) with some food play and the fun expands! With Thanksgiving just around the corner, this fun recipe is great to do ahead of time or for day of décor!
Little ones in the kitchen on holidays can be chaotic. Giving them a task of their own keeps their hands busy and their tummies full!
Cornucopia Fruit Cone
This yummy snack is more than just delicious, it doubles as table décor.
- Waffle Cone(s)
- Whipped Cream
- Your Favorite fruits and veggies, in bite size form
- What we used: Peaches, strawberries, blueberries, apples, sweet potatoes and beets.
- Chocolate Syrup (Optional)
Toddler Tip: Carrots, squash, beets and sweet potatoes need to be cooked first if used. Grapes and cherry tomatoes should always be cut lengthwise and into quarters.
We baked our sweet potatoes with a drizzle of oil, salt and brown sugar, and the beets were purchased pre cooked!
Give your little one an empty cone (we dipped ours in chocolate syrup) with a dollop of whipped cream on a plate, along with a bowl of yummy fruits and veggies. Now they can fill their cones to their liking and dip the fruit (or cone) in the whipped cream for added flavor.
