There is a six letter word that makes us CRINGE. As a parent, you are probably used to hearing it.
It’s that word you hear when you’re minding your own business, standing in line at the grocery store (or basically anywhere) with your child. And, let’s get real, it’s not limited to when you’re in public with your children! You find that almost everyone has some “advice” they feel you need. This is when that six letter word comes up — should.
You know, “You should be feeding your baby this way.”
Or the popular, “You should have this [insert opinion] career plan with a growing family.”
The important thing to remember is that friends, family, strangers…all alike, mean well. They are either very passionate about something that worked well for them, or they genuinely care about you and your well-being.
Here is our commitment to you: We don’t “should“ at Moms on Call.
We have opinions on things that are rooted in science and safety.
